Theorist Game Guide

Super Smash Bros. is a Nintendo fighting game series featured in Game Theory, Digressing & Sidequesting, Culture Shock, A Brief History, and Break Down, but most prominently in Smash History, in which Trailer Drake explains the backstory of the characters, their movesets, and the stages.

Game information[]

Super Smash Bros. is a series of crossover fighting games published by Nintendo. Featuring characters and stages from Nintendo's most famous franchises, such as Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, Kirby, Metroid, Kid Icarus, and Star Fox, as well as lesser known franchises and third-party franchises, such as Mega Man, Pac-Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, Bayonetta, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, and Metal Gear Solid, the game differs itself from traditional fighting games as, instead of having life bars at the top of the screen, damage is dealt in percentages, and the higher a character's percentage, the higher chance of them getting K.O.'d. Super Smash Bros. Brawl introduced the Final Smash, in which when a character destroys a Smashball, it opens and a character can unleash a powerful attack (Types: Directional, Focused, Stage-Wide, Transformation, and Trapping), usually resulting in an instant K.O. in any opponent in its path. So far, there have been five games; Super Smash Bros, released in 1999 for the Nintendo 64; Super Smash Bros. Melee, released in 2001 for the GameCube; Super Smash Bros. Brawl, released in 2008 for the Wii; and Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, which were released in 2014 for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS respectively.
