Theorist Media, also sometimes referred to as Theorist Inc, is a U.S.-based digital production studio and consulting firm founded in 2013 by Matthew and Stephanie Patrick. The company operates the Theorist channels--The Game Theorists, The Film Theorists, The Style Theorists, The Food Theorists, GTLive and LoreFi--as well as the fashion apparel brand Lumen. Additionally, Theorist works with tech and entertainment brands alongside other YouTube channels to "develop cross-platform content strategies, achieve long-term audience growth, and manage their brand identity through data-driven decision-making."[1] They currently have production in Raleigh, North Carolina and Los Angeles, California.[2]

Theorist Media was sold to LunarX on December 20th, 2022, and continues to operate as a subsidiary, with Matthew Patrick serving as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Stephanie Patrick as COO (Chief Operating Officer), with these positions lasting until 2025, when Matthew & Stephanie became Senior Advisors. Kevin Daigle became the CEO of Theorist Media.[3]

As of July 2024, Theorist Media had 22 full-time staff and "around 20 freelancers".[4]
